MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
August 12, 2025
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods
presiding. Council members present: Zachary Bossier, Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Pam Thomas and Anthony Wilson. One guest present.
Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the July minutes were approved. All ayes. None absent.
The utility bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Mynes. The general bills were approved with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. None absent.
Mr. Bossier report that he was receiving lots of thanks for the speed bumps on Uncas Street, to slow down speeders. He also reported the Sabine River Bass shootout was a success and the championship was being held September 20 & 21, weighing in starts at 3:30.
Mayor Woods reported possibly getting grants that would paint the water tower and passed around photo to show what it may look like. He also passed around photo of
the benches that were put at the baseball practice fields.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier.
