MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
September 9, 2025
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Zachary Bossier, Michael Mynes and Pam Thomas. Absent: Katherine Freeman and Anthony Wilson. A quorum was met. No guest present.
Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the August minutes were approved. All ayes. Two absent.
The general bills were approved with a motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. The utility bills were approved with a motion by Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. Two absent.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Mynes a resolution was passed and adopted to extend membership in and the benefits of the plan provisions of the municipal Employees’ Retirement System of Louisiana to eligible employees of the Town of Logansport, Louisiana. All ayes. Two absent.
Mr. Bossier reported the fishing tournament would be September 20 and 21.
Mayor Woods reported the town was packed over the weekend with the Sales Along 84. Next month would be the 50 Miles Trail.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. Two absent.
