MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
January 14, 2025
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, January 14, 2025 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Zachary Bossier, Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Pam Thomas and Anthony Wilson. 3 guest were present.
The meeting was opened with prayer from Mr. Mynes and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and second from Mr. Wilson the December minutes were approved. All ayes. None absent.
The monthly bills were approved as presented with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. None absent.
A resolution changing signatories at depositories for the Town of Logansport was approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Mynes. All ayes. None absent.
It was discussed and approved for budget to give each committee, Mardi Gras, River City Fest and Christmas Lighting $1000.00 for 2025 with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. None absent.
The 2025 Joaquin Water Contract was approved with a motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. None absent.
Mayor Woods welcomed 2025 council, he reported meeting with contractor to install cornhole games. Hopefully these will be done before River City Fest, as they are putting on a cornhole tournament. Mr. Bossier brought up several streets needing speed bumps in town. Mayor Woods will be looking at these areas to determine where we could place them.
Mayor Woods also reported the Town had a price on uniforms for maintenance employees and thought it would be a good idea that our employees could be identified when working around town and in people’s yards. It was approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. None absent.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. None absent.
