TOWN OF LOGANSPORT

November 12, 2024 

The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Judge Cordray presiding. Council members present: Pam Thomas, Mark Woods, Katherine Freeman, Zachary Bossier. Anthony Wilson absent. One guest present.

The meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the October minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent.

The monthly bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. One absent.

A public hearing was call for next month for proposed 2025 budget with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mrs. Freeman.

Approval to sell old water meters as salvage was approved with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. One absent.

Declaring the old ford tractor and boom axe as surplus was approved with a motion from Mr. Woods and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. One absent.

Mayor Cordray reported that Halloween on the riverfront went great and had a big turnout.

Mayor Cordray also reported that the Logansport Christmas Festival was on Saturday, November 23, 2024 and the parade would begin at 4.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. One absent.
