TOWN OF LOGANSPORT

January 13, 2026 

The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding.  Council members present : Zachary Bossier, Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes and Anthony Wilson. Pam Thomas absent. No guest present.

Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.

With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Wilson the December minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent.

The General bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. One absent.

The Utility bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent.

The Joaquin Water Contract was approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. One absent.

Mayor Woods reported on the progress our town has made this year, adding a pickle ball court and corn hole game sets.  We have made updates to townhall, revamped several lift stations and manholes sewer jetter, and put in a brand new valve at the water plant. We added Ethan Gurley and Brandon Wilson to our staff, put the crews in uniforms and added retirement for employees. We purchased the property from the school board where the food pantry is located and the old football field as well as the parking lot.

Mayor Woods commended the council on the year they have serve and praised our workers for everything they do for our town.

With no further business to the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Mynes.
