MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
December 9, 2025
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding.
Council members present: Zachary Bossier, Kathrine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Pam Thomas and Anthony Wilson. No guest present.
Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Thomas a public hearing was opened to discuss the 2026 Budgets. The public meeting was closed with a motion by Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Mynes. All ayes. None absent.
The November minutes were approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. None absent.
The General and Utility Bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. None absent.
A motion from Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the 2026 Budgets were approved. All ayes. None absent.
The Amended Budgets for 2025 were approved with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier. All ayes. None absent.
A Resolution to authorize the Mayor to sign the paper work for the purchase of property at 1100 Gum Street was approved with a motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. None absent.
Mr. Bossier reported that the Sabine River Bass Shootout first tournament date would be February 1, 2026.
Mayor Woods ask all council to thank any committee leader or worker who has helped bring all the events to Logansport. Every event has been successful and brought many visitors to spend money in our town. Mayor would also thanked the council for participating in the Christmas parade and to Vanessa Guzman and Terri Hamon for decorating the float and Mr. Bossier for the use of his trailer.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. None absent.
