MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
March 10, 2026
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Pam Thomas and Anthony Wilson. Zachary Bossier absent. No guest present.
Mr. Mynes opened the Meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the February minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent.
The General Bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. One absent.
The Utility Bills were approved with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent.
Mayor Woods reported the Logansport Chamber of Commerce Fish Fry and Sandbass Tournament turned out great. The Fish Fry was held in the new Chamber building and there was standing room only. The Sabine River Bass Shootout was held the next day and had 47 teams.
The Mayor report there is a sink hole on Fourth Street which is flagged off and is scheduled to be fix in the next coming weeks. The lift station on Robin Street has been completely reworked.
An Eater Egg Drop will be held on April 4, 2026 with 15,000 eggs. The chamber could help with putting up the fences.
Town bought new truck for work crew with the approval from town council.
With no further business to discuss meeting was adjourned with motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Bossier.
