MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
July 14, 2026
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, July 14, 2026 in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Zachary Bossier, Anthony Wilson. Absent: Anthony Wilson.
Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and seconded by Mr. Mynes the June minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent.
The General bills were approved with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent.
The Utility bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent.
A Resolution was approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and seconded by Mr. Bossier that Mayor Woods be designated and appointed to perform on behalf of the Town of Logansport and has the authority to make those acts and assume any and all duties dealing with the award with DRA for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 federal award program. That Mayor Woods is herby authorized to execute and submit any and all documents including, but not limited to, applications, award closing documents, request for funds, status reports to DRA for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 feral award program cycle. That the Town of Logansport agrees to provide additional funds in the amount of $65,000 to said award.
Mayor Woods discussed the work being done at water plant.
Mr. Booser reported that 31 teams showed up for the Sabine River Bass Shootout.
Mayor Woods reported Fourth of July was a big success and one of the biggest crowds.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mr. Zach and seconded by Mrs. Freeman.
