TOWN OF LOGANSPORT

May 12, 2026 

The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, May 12, in the Council Chamber of Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Mark Woods presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Michael Mynes, Pam Thomas and Anthony Wilson. Absent: Zachary Bossier.

Mr. Mynes opened the meeting with a prayer and Mayor Woods led the Pledge of Allegiance.

With a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Wilson the April minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent. 

The Utility bills were approved with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent. 

The General Bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Mynes and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. One absent.

Michael Mynes reported that he attended LDH management training in Oil City, which gives Logansport water system 5 points.

Mayor Woods reported River City Fest had a good turn out and everything ran smoothly. Sabie River Shootout had 42 entries. New swings are being put a playground on riverfront and infant swing are on order.  The splash pad will be turned on next week.  The white dodge truck is out of commission and will cost more to fix than its worth.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mr. Mynes. All ayes. One absent.
