TOWN OF LOGANSPORT

JANUARY 09, 2024 

The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Judge Cordray presiding. Council members present: Mark Woods, Katherine Freeman and Anthony Wilson. Absent: Zachary Bossier and Pam Thomas. Three guests were present.

The meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.

With a motion from Mrs. Freeman and second from Mr. Woods the December minutes were approved. All ayes. Two absent.

The utility and general bills were approved with a motion by Mr. Woods and seconded by Mr. Wilson. All ayes. Two absent.

The Mayor reported Mardi Gras Banquet was on the 13th at RB4 and the parade will be on the 27th. The Town Clerk presented two options to the council on cups to be thrown at Mardi Gras parade, with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mr. Wilson the cups were chosen. All ayes. Two absent.

Mayor Cordray also reported the community center and building beside town hall were all cleaned and organized.

Mayor Cordray reported that Town Hall would be closed Monday, January 15, 2024 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

With no further business the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Mr. Wilson and second from Mr. Woods. All ayes. Two absent.
