MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
DECEMBER 12, 2023
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Judge Cordray presiding. Council members present: Mark Woods, Katherine Freeman and Pam Thomas. Absent: Zachary Bossier and Anthony Wilson. Two guests were present.
The meeting was opened with the Lord’s Pray and Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mrs. Thomas and second from Mr. Woods a public hearing was opened to discuss the 2024 proposed budget. The meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mr. Woods and second from Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. Two absent.
The November minutes were approved with a motion by Mrs. Freeman and second by Mr. Woods. All ayes. Two absent.
The utility and general bills were approved with a motion by Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mrs. Freeman. All ayes. Two absent.
The 2024 Budget was adopted with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and seconded by Mrs. Thomas. All ayes. Two absent.
With a motion from Mr. Woods and seconded by Mrs. Thomas the 2023 amended budgets were approved. All ayes. Two absent.
Mayor Cordray reported the Town has gotten its new water meters and they would start being installed after the first of the year. He complimented the Christmas Festival for a success with its festivities and drawing in lots of people to town. Mayor Cordray reported the Bryan Martin Concert went over great with lots of people in town. The Community Center will be available soon to the public for use. The wall behind townhall has been painted and overlay on the street should start Monday. Store will be open in downtown on December 14 until 8:30 and a sing a long will be happening between 6:00- 7:15.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion from Mrs. Thomas and seconded by Mrs. Freeman.
