TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
AUGUST 8, 2023
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Logansport Town Hall with Mayor Judge Cordray presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Zachary Bossier, Anthony Wilson and Mark Woods. Pam Thomas absent. One guest present.
The meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mr. Bossier and second from Mr. Wilson the minutes were approved. All ayes. One absent.
The monthly bills for the general and utility funds were approved with a motion from Mrs. Freeman and second from Mr. Woods. All ayes. One absent.
Mr. Wilson reported on a couple of streets that needed work.
There was no old business or new business.
The Mayor reported that air conditioning was being installed at the community center this week. The welcome sign above the horse and wagon had been installed. New signs have been ordered for the riverfront discouraging swimming. Work on the playground should be starting soon.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion by Mrs. Freeman and second from Mr. Wilson. All ayes. One absent.
