MINUTES
TOWN OF LOGANSPORT
FEBRUARY 14, 2023
The regular monthly meeting of the Logansport Town Council was held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the Logansport Town Hall with mayor Judge Cordray presiding. Council members present: Katherine Freeman, Anthony Wilson and Mark Woods. ABSENT Pam Thomas and Zachary Bossier. 5 guests were in attendance.
The meeting opened with the Lord’s prayer and Pledge of Allegiance.
With a motion from Mrs. Freeman and second from Mr. Wilson the minutes were approved. All ayes. Two absent.
The monthly bills were approved with a motion from Mr. Woods and second from Mr. Wilson. All ayes. Two absent.
With a motion from Mrs. Freeman and second from Mr. Woods a Resolution was approved to resolve the Municipal Water Pollution Prevention Audit Report. All ayes. Two absent.
A public hearing for introduction of Ordinance to provide for cross-connection control and regulation for the Town of Logansport Water Supply System was approved with a motion from Mr. Wilson and second from Mrs. Freeman for next month. All ayes. Two absent.
A public hearing for introduction of Ordinance for Water Rates was approved with a motion from Mr. Woods and second from Mr. Wilson for next month. All ayes. Two absent.
Mark Armstrong presented the council with proposal for construction for Ceremonial Flag Retirement Expansion. All council present agreed on plans. The mayor suggested going down to see where it could be placed. Mr. Armstrong will present final plans in near future.
Mayor Cordray reported that the Mardi Gras Ball and Parade were a huge success and was the biggest crowd he has seen at the parade with both sides of the road full all the way from Lovell Lane to Main Street.
Mayor Cordray also report the canopies were finished and all lamps were in placed, and the construction company has done an excellent job.
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned with a motion form Mr. Woods and second from Mr. Wilson. All ayes. Two absent.
