Logansport, the “Gateway to Louisiana” and “Sand Bass Capital of the World”
And it’s a great place to live!

The Pavilion is built on a terraced hill overlooking the River Stage with magnificent views of the Sabine River and the entire park area.

In 1995 grant funds were obtained to build the pavilion. It is dedicated to the memory of Gordon Chandler. Gordon was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whenever he could. Because of his physical limitations it is very special that the children’s playground is within close proximity.

The Pavilion is a large covered facility with railings and nicely finished concrete slab floor. It provides a covered area for larger groups to gather and it is the perfect setting for family re-unions, for community group functions, company gatherings, birthday celebrations and festivals. The Pavilion is available for public use and organized functions through the Town of Logansport.
