DeSoto Regional Health System operates a rural health clinic in Logansport, Louisiana.  Conveniently located at the intersection of Hwy. 84 and Second Street, just North of the Louisiana / Texas bridge.  The clinic provides daily medical needs and minor emergency care to residents of Logansport, Joaquin, and the surrounding area.  More serious illnesses or injuries are referred to DeSoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Regional Health System operate a 38-bed acute-care rural hospital in Mansfield, Louisiana with a 24-hour emergency room, outpatient physical therapy, a multi-provider rural health clinic, and a multi-specialty outpatient clinic.  Local specialties include Cardiology, Chemotherapy, Ear/Nose/Throat (ENT), Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Oncology/Hematology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry and Urology.  In addition, the system operates an industrial medicine clinic and fitness center in Mansfield, Louisiana as well as a rural health clinic in Zwolle, Louisiana.
