Code Enforcement
The Town of Logansport has adopted ordinances or City Codes (laws) specifically designed to address blight, nuisances and to maintain a clean, healthy environment for all of the citizens of the community.
The Town of Logansport does this in partnership with the people of the Town of Logansport. The Code Enforcement Department is tasked with enforcing these city ordinances relating to high grass and weeds, junk motor vehicles, trash, dangerous or neglected buildings, and other code violations.
Code Enforcement also works to promote a higher quality of life by promoting an awareness of and compliance with City codes in order to stabilize and or reverse the deterioration of neighborhoods.
Citizens are encouraged to develop and promote a strong sense of civic pride and voluntarily comply with city ordinances.
Property owners failing to maintain their properties in compliance with city ordinance pose the risk of enforcement action. All actions are conducted in a responsive and fair manner focusing on customer service and public awareness while respecting the property rights of our citizens. If you have any questions regarding city codes please contact The Town of Logansport at (318) 697-5359.
