Boy Scout Troop 33


Troop 33 is located in Logansport, Louisiana, on the eastern bank of the Sabine River (Toledo Bend Lake), which is the border of Texas and Louisiana. This Northwestern Louisiana location is an area rich in Indian Heritage. Caddo, Kickapoo, Keatchie and Coushatta are but a few of the Indian tribes that roamed the area. Now, many area towns bear their tribal names.

Troop 33 consists of approximately 10 boy scouts and 8 adult leaders.

Troop meetings: Monday Nights 7:00 – 8:00 PM
Games & Advancement classes 6:30 - 7:00 PM

Location: Scout Hut- 1 block north of Main St. (Hwy. 84) off  Marshall Rd. in Logansport, Louisiana

Summer Meetings: Summer Camp & Some other meetings monthly

Activities: Camporees, Camp Turkey, Winter Camp, monthly camping or hiking, annual big event at the end of each school year (“Jerry Sanders” Buffalo River Canoe Trip) & summer camp
