River City Events Planning Committee
The River City Events Planning Committee was established in 2008. The RCEP Committee is a non-profit group that is dedicated to the community in an effort to increase commerce and improve the community. The River City Events Planning Committee functions under the Chamber of Commerce.
The Committee is dedicated to the organization of events in the Town of Logansport. The committee is all about giving back to the community! It hosts annual events such as the River City Festival, River City Christmas Festivities and Parade, and Krewe of Aquarius Mardi Gras Parade and Ball.
They raise money for such events through obtaining sponsorships from local business and community leaders and also host fund-raisers throughout the year. Their primary goal is to improve the community by increasing commerce, supporting other charities and organizations, raising funds for beautification projects, and hosting events for all to enjoy.

Each committee member is assigned different duties during each event, so what they do varies.
Our meetings vary depending on the time of year and event we are hosting. We are always looking for volunteers for each event and/or individuals who would like to join the committee
and help with all events.
