River City Events Planning
The River City Events Planning Committee was established in 2008. The RCEP Committee is a non-profit group that is dedicated to the community in an effort to increase commerce and improve the community. Toledo Bend Riding Club
The Toledo Bend Riding Club hosts play-days and rodeos at the Logansport Municipal Rodeo Arena. The events are family affairs. Moms, dads and kids of all ages compete in various events held at the arena. Some of the events include Cloverleaf Barrels, Straightaway Barrels, Poles, Goat Tying and Breakaway Roping. Mardi Gras Krewe and Ball
The Town of Logansport currently has one Mardi Gras Krewe, the Krewe of Aquarius. The Krewe has an annual parade during the Mardi Gras celebration in Louisiana. The parade consists of a varied number of floats, motorcycle groups, antique cars and any other approved group wanting to March or participate as a part of the parade. Boy Scouts

The Compassionate Friends of Toledo Bend
Our regular meeting in Logansport, La is at the Logansport Branch Library on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:00 pm. Everyone is welcome...you do not have to walk alone!! Veterans of the Confederacy
Logansport is where the Texas Confederate soldiers crossed the Sabine River into Louisiana, on their way to battles further east. There are ten identified grave-sites in the Historic Logansport City Cemetery, and several more not yet identified. The Confederate grave-sites are marked with CSA headstones. Logansport Rosenwald High School Alumni Association
The Logansport Rosenwald High School Alumni Association consists of the many graduates from the years 1952 through 1979. The LRHS Alumni Association elected officers in December 2011 for the term of 2012-2013, with continued election of Association officers in 2012. The mission of the Association members is to establish the Logansport Rosenwald High School Alumni Association Museum and Learning Center and a Scholarship Fund for area students.
